SNAP SHOTS/FEEDBACK

Our Students say:
"Yoga is my "me" time. Just for that hour, I attune myself to my body, mind and soul.  At the end of class I am completely de-stressed, invigorated and in harmony with myself,” – Dawn Ng, who used to be plagued by back pains and sore muscles. Today this devout practitioner is amazed what and how much her body can do.

MOONCAKE WALK
Lil Yogis of Yoga2Health whistled down the Telawi stretch on September 12 with beautiful lanterns to celebrate the mid-autumn Mooncake festival. They each had a whistle to create more fun and to stop the traffic. On the way back to the centre the yogis stopped at MPH Bookstore in Bangsar Village to demonstrate their skills. Once again our little ones did us proud and it was a beautiful fun-filled evening for all.

by Kasmiah Mustapha

Embracing life at 50
by Syida Lizta Amirul Ihsan, Kasmiah Mustpha and
Meena Sreenivasan

“I think it’s important to listen to yourself. You cannot lose yourself in anything and it’s important to do something you like so you feel young.”—SL WHILE some people get depressed at the thought of turning 50, Vanaja Dhanan embraced it gleefully. So much so, that sometimes she forgets that she is now 55.

“I have to remind myself sometimes of my age. I do not feel 55. It has nothing to do with being in denial. It is the result of being confident, being secure of who I am and having a strong inner self.” Her inner beauty exudes through her warm smile and infectious laughter. They probably keep the wrinkles from her face. Vanaja does not look her age, despite her silvery hair. Click here for full article

Klang Valley Streets: The internal massage
by Francis Dass

“The best thing about doing this is when students tell you after a class how good they felt and how they have changed in nature. That’s the kind of good feeling that tides me through all the challenges,” says Vanaja. Click here for full article
