Y2H TEAM Yoga2Health is managed by Vanaja Dhanan or Van. Her penchant for “anything related to wellness” began overseas in the food and beverage industry. Back in Malaysia since the late 90s she pursued many diverse paths including writing and publishing a children’s storybook "BenO". The book has taken her on many a story telling session entertaining and enthralling young audiences. Whilst the book provides her opportunities to give back to the community (proceeds from the book are donated to charities), of her current pursuit she says: “This has been a great journey for me. Accidental initially and plenty of rough rides, but now I firmly believe that I am guided by the universe and am doing a form of service to the community. Each person leaving Y2H feeling happy is soul satisfying to me. The joy is immense. New Teacher He has trained with several prominent Iyengar Yoga teachers in India and the United States, and has also studied at and employs techniques from the Vivekananda Yoga Institute (VYASA) in Bangalore, India. He completed his Teacher's Training programme with Yoga Master Bharath Shetty in Mysore, India. Richard is a registered member of Yoga Alliance. He holds a certificate in anatomy and physiology from Fulton Montgomery College in upstate New York. Most recently, he returned to Mysore, India, for a second time to undergo intensive training in the Ashtanga Vinyasa style of yoga. Richard teaches in his homeland of New York, and has also spent time teaching in India and Malaysia.
